Iceni Projects has today, 7 March, announced the appointment of Dan Jestico as Director of its Sustainable Development team.

Dan joins from Hilson Moran, where he was Head of Research and Development. His work has been focused on identifying innovative solutions to sustainability and efficiency within buildings.

He has advised on a diverse selection of projects; from high rise commercial towers in the City, to mixed use masterplans in East London, to private residential properties in south-east London, reflecting the broad make-up of Iceni’s projects.

Dan co-chaired the UK Green Building task group on zero carbon non-domestic buildings in 2014 and co-curated the Developing City exhibition in 2012 for New London Architecture.

Dan Jestico said:

“Sustainability is now at the heart of property development - as well it should be. I’m looking forward to working with my new clients, helping them to develop sustainable projects, without compromising on the things that matter.

“I am really pleased to be on board at an exciting time for both Iceni Projects and the wider property sector.”

This appointment is part of Iceni Projects’ ongoing development of its sustainability offering. Ian Anderson, Executive Director, explained:

“Sustainability is no longer a ‘nice to have’ - it is critical to a project’s success. That’s why we set up the Sustainable Development Commission which will be launching a tool later this year to assess whether a project can truly be called sustainable.

“So we are really delighted that Dan has joined the team and we hope our clients will be too. “
